Return & Refund Policy

At Black Hills Tallow, we take great care in crafting our tallow-based skincare products using high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. Due to the natural and perishable nature of our products, we have a strict return policy to ensure the integrity of each item we sell.

Returns & Exchanges

  • We only accept returns or exchanges within 24 hours of delivery.

  • If your product arrives damaged or defective, you must notify us within one day (24 hours) of delivery with clear photos of the product and packaging.

  • Due to the temperature-sensitive nature of tallow (similar to butter), we cannot accept returns for issues caused by improper handling, delays in retrieving your package, or exposure to extreme temperatures after delivery.

Refunds

  • Approved refunds will be issued back to the original payment method.

  • Refunds will not be granted for dissatisfaction with scent, texture, or consistency, as natural variations occur in handcrafted products.

Shipping Responsibility

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive their order on the day of delivery.

  • We are not responsible for products that sit outside in heat or cold, leading to melting or hardening.

By placing an order, you agree to these terms and understand that our products require immediate retrieval and proper storage to maintain their quality.
