How it all began ...

About a year ago, I found myself on a mission I know so many parents understand...trying to help my son manage his eczema without constantly relying on steroid creams. I wanted something simpler, something I could trust, and something that didn’t come with a long list of ingredients I couldn’t pronounce.
That search is what led me to tallow and honestly, it’s been a lifesaver.
What I love most is how simple and natural it is. It’s so clean and safe that if my kids get into it, I don’t have to worry. That peace of mind matters more than anything. It started as something I made just for my family, trying to soothe sensitive skin in a way that actually worked.
Then something unexpected happened other people started asking for it. Friends, clients, neighbors… it turned out there was a real need for products like this. People wanted something gentle, effective, and made with intention.
So here I am, a year later, still slinging fat and I couldn’t be more proud.
Proud to make something my own kids use. Proud to create products that help others dealing with the same skin sensitivities I’ve struggled with. And proud to build something rooted right here at home. I am a fourth generation South Dakotan and there’s something really special about carrying that legacy forward, creating honest, hardworking products from the place that raised me.
This started as a solution for my son. It turned into something so much bigger. And I’m so grateful you’re here for it.
